This year (2013), a number of Chinese churches have undertaken the Alliance College of Australia (ACA) -Chinese course as part of their ministry leaders’ training program. Some students enrolled in Australian College of Ministries (ACOM) Certificate IV program while others enrolled in Certificate of Christian Studies. The students from the following churches have studied these various subjects in 2013:

1. Christ Community Alliance Church – Old Testament
2. Sydney Chinese Alliance Church – Christian Spirituality, Introduction to Theology
3. Hebron Chinese Alliance Church – Defending and Defining the Faith, Practical Christian Leadership
4. New Hope Community Church – Introduction to Theology
5. Baulkham Hills Chinese Alliance Church – Christian Spirituality    
6. Sydney South Chinese Alliance Church － Christian Spirituality

It is exciting to announce that ACA will be offering the first Chinese subject of ACOM-Diploma program next year (2014). ACACC has strongly supported the move to translate the Diploma program into Chinese. In the last ACA Governing Committee meeting, it was resolved to select relevant subjects and embark on the translation. The first subject to be translated is “The Study of Mission” and it is anticipated to complete translation by the end of February 2014. Those students who have completed ACOM-Cert IV program are invited and encouraged to enrol in our new program when it officially commences.
